The DBC Board of Directors are elected every year at our annual convention by our members. Each member has an equal opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors. Members that who have been in good standing one year prior to the date of nomination and whose election to the DBC Board of Directors will not create a conflict of interest with the organization are eligible to be nominated to appear on the ballot. Each voting member has the opportunity to vote for new directors every year. The Board of Directors for the DBC consists of a minimum of 9 members (maximum 15) that serve staggering, 3 year terms. Up to one third of our members of the Board of Directors can be out of state residents.
Officers must be a member of the Board of Directors to be eligible for election. All of the DBC officers are elected at the annual convention when the term is available. If you are interested in becoming more involved with the Deer Breeders Corporation, please contact our president to see which committee you would best be able to serve. We depend on these committees to make our organization successful.
